It's That Time of the Year - FLEX/FSA Benefits

December is a hectic time of the year, but there's one thing you shouldn't overlook during the holiday rush. If you have a flexible savings account, or FSA, you need to check its balance, and check with your benefits department, to make sure you don't end up wasting that money.

Don't spend all year paying for benefits that you don't use.

If you've got money left over in your FSA from this year, hurry up and spend it! In many instances, if you don't use the money by the end of your benefits year, which for most people is December 31st, you'll lose it.
